2016 South African Maths Olympiad (SAMO), Final Round

Since SAMO was introduced to Nigerian schools in 2013, this year's final round will feature 8 students from 3 schools in the country. These brilliants champions have made the nation proud by being the first set of schools to reach SAMO final round from the country. They are from Day Waterman College (Ogun State), Greensprings School (Lekki Campus, Lagos State) and The Ambassadors' College (Ota, Ogun State).

Over 85,000 students participated in 2016 SAMO from Round 1 and only 100 junior and 100 senior reach the final round annually.

They shall be representing their schools and Nigeria at the final round which takes place at Pretoria Boys’ High School, 251 Roper Street, Brooklyn, Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa on 27th July, 2016.
